Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Full refund. Email customer don't worry about using the help didn't work just went round and round in circles.
Accidentally ordered paid for 3 DNA kit's and system has no help for the question to be helped. Great time wasters, would not help after 2 days still no answer nor find a phone number or email address that you can get an answer.
Want a refund wanted to stop 2 kits stopped before sent.
No customer service no way to contact the customer service so zero way to help a problem outside the list of scope. Not happy

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Disputed the charge with my credit card. Did a live chat with My Heritage and threatened to file a fraud complaint against them with the police.
I think I got a resolution through a live chat. I threatened to file a police report alleging fraud by the company unless I received a refund. I was assured that a refund would be issued.
Account access denied since June 25, 2025
Today is June 29,2025. I am STILL in the access denied status on My Heritage.
I received this status on June 25, 2025. I have sent your team multiple emails and STILL NO response. Whats going on.
Fix this issue immediately.
How about RESPONDING TO PAYING CUSTOMERS. HOW DO EXPECT TO KEEP THEM?
User's recommendation: Think twice before using, always back up your work on a different site, not thru their backup service. Dont count on any customer service response

Terrible! I had an account issue that required talking to a live agent. That was apparently not an option.
Absolutely nothing. No one answered my call.
I cant with conscience even give
my heritage a 1 rating.
I need to talk to someone regarding my account. This is a joke.

I didn't create the account. I was actually charged initially in Mar or April of last year but have some health issues, so I don't always see every single email.
I caught the this year and called PayPal to dispute it. They said there would be resolution after 10 days. Nothing happened. Myheritage called me and agreed I had no knowledge of the account and would refund me in 2 days.
9 days past and I sent another email to support telling them that MyHeritage called me and made empty promises.
The next day, I received an email confirmation that they would refund the last subscription charge. I will have to check PayPal credit to ensure they did issue the refund.
Give my money back and delete the bogus account. They called and promised to do both within 2 days. Many days have passed and still no credit and no action from Myheritage or PayPal where I filed the dispute

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. At first they offered me a partial of 47$ so I yelled and demanded full refund.
They hing up on me but within a minute I had notification to say my full 191$ will b going into my account. Thank you
I just had $191 taken from my bank account that was not authorised by me. Why is it so hard to contact this company? I want my $ back

I have been trying for at least a few months now to order a DNA test for myself. I'd have liked to also order tests for other family members.
However, on their site I continually get the message "Invalid card number". This is a Discover card we have used for years. I've checked, rechecked, re-rechecked, & triple-re-rechecked the numbers to be sure, & they are all correct.
Then, since I had created a "free" account to be able to login & have an ID number with them, when I attempted (once I could locate it!) to use their chat feature, after I'd written the message, it showed me as a "Deleted member"!
I will be shocked if I ever hear back from them. I tried calling their number (difficult to find) & I sent an email to 2 different email addresses to ask for help, but if they consider me to be "Deleted", and since I've never been able to order a test, I doubt they'll respond.
If I do get a response, I will come back to update this review, for better or worse.
A person should not be required to pay for membership if they want to simply order a test. That appears to be the only option they allow, or at least they don't respond to people trying to buy a DNA test. In fact, for the "sale" they have going on, & have had going on for a long time, a 1-month membership is included with the price of the test.
I don't need a myheritage.com membership, because I'm already on other genealogy websites. It claims that the LDS church doesn't "control" myheritage.com, but I've noticed that only LDS church members or paid subscribers to myheritage.com are able to access all their genealogy features, so what does that say?
I can get many records from an LDS site, familysearch.org, a site *sponsored* by the LDS church. Which could explain why it limits much of what's available to members of ancestry.com, which is another LDS site. When I bought an ancestry.com DNA test, I was given a free subscription to their site for a limited time, and was able to view much, much more. I can access their records through my cousin's account because she is an LDS member & has given me her password.
The only site I'm certain isn't controlled in one way or another by the LDS church is WikiTree.com.
I cannot for the life of me understand why certain *public* records are only accessible by either LDS members or paid subscribers to LDS sites. This is a travesty & betrayal of trust by the official keepers of such records, like almost any "U.S.
Public Records" databases for residences or marriages, births, etc, Social Security death indexes, and so on. Who was it in our government that gave the LDS church the right to limit which people could or could not view the records?

I feel that the communication is complicated and the information not well defined.
A phone number to reach the company and an easy way to cancel or delete a family genealogical tree should be easy to be found.
Dealing with myheritage is a nightmare!
